Design Permanent Magnet Linear Generator Multi-air gap Structure using Finite Element Method.

This paper deals with design of Permanent Magnet Linear Generator Multi-airgap Structure (MALG) using Finite Element Method (FEM). The cogging force, which occurs due to the interaction between stator teeth and the Permanent Magnet (PM), is reduced by the MALG dimensions. The generated voltage is analysed for both no load on the multi-air gap flux density and this paper predicts the thrust force and the flux linkage.
