    SS1: Smart Grids and Renewable Energy: Intelligent Integration and Emerging Technologies

    The objective of this session is to bring together researchers and experts to discuss recent advancements in the intelligent integration of renewable energy sources into smart grid infrastructures.

    The proposed session will cover, but not be limited to, the following topics:

    • Smart grid planning, design, and operation,
    • Renewable energy forecasting and grid integration,
    • AI and data-driven control in energy systems,
    • Energy storage and demand response,
    • Cybersecurity and reliability in smart grids.

    SS2: Workshop on Scientific Article Writing

    Proposal:

    Over the years, I have gained substantial experience in guiding young researchers and graduate students through the intricacies of scientific writing and the publication process in indexed journals such as ISI and Scopus. I firmly believe that this workshop will greatly benefit participating students, early-career academics, and researchers by equipping them with essential skills and insights.

    Key objectives of the proposed workshop include:

    • Structuring and writing a standard scientific manuscript,
    • Strategies for selecting appropriate journals and submitting manuscripts,
    • Understanding the peer-review process and key reasons for acceptance or rejection,
    • What editors and reviewers look for in submissions,
    • Warning signs to look for to avoid predatory journals,
    • Enhancing visibility and chances of acceptance in high-impact journals,
    • Addressing common challenges in publishing and sharing practical experiences.
