Over the years, I have gained substantial experience in guiding young researchers
and graduate students through the intricacies of scientific writing and the publication
process in indexed journals such as ISI and Scopus. I firmly believe that this workshop
will greatly benefit participating students, early-career academics, and researchers by
equipping them with essential skills and insights.
Key objectives of the proposed workshop include:
- Structuring and writing a standard scientific manuscript,
- Strategies for selecting appropriate journals and submitting manuscripts,
- Understanding the peer-review process and key reasons for acceptance or rejection,
- What editors and reviewers look for in submissions,
- Warning signs to look for to avoid predatory journals,
- Enhancing visibility and chances of acceptance in high-impact journals,
- Addressing common challenges in publishing and sharing practical experiences.
